Exiting new opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join a well-established Practice of Chartered Architects.

Position: Full-time, Permanent.
Salary: A competitive salary of up to £45k per year

Our client is a Chartered Practice of Architects based in Dundee, Scotland, renowned for their commitment to excellence in both residential and commercial architecture. The team is passionate about modern contemporary design, and they have a rich history of collaboration with future generations of architects.
They pride themselves on offering a comprehensive range of in-house architectural services, ensuring a seamless process for our clients from start to finish.

Required Experience:

 •  Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a related field
 •  Proficiency in software programs such as SolidWorks, Grasshopper, Revit, 3ds Max, ArchiCAD, Sketchup, AutoCAD, and MicroStation
 •  Strong understanding of architectural principles and building codes

 •  Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
 •  Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop architectural plans and designs.
 •  Create detailed drawings, schematics, and models using software such as SolidWorks, Grasshopper, Revit, 3ds Max, ArchiCAD, Sketchup, and AutoCAD
 •  Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including specifications and material lists.
 •  Conduct site visits to gather information and ensure compliance with design plans.
 •  Review and analyse building codes and regulations to ensure project compliance.
 •  Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors during the construction phase to address any design issues or changes.
 •  Assist in the coordination of project schedules and timelines.
