Your Profile
My client is looking for strong technical skills, leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a small team and interact with senior stakeholders.
You will have proven track record of working in a payroll position, being able to demonstrate the core fundamentals in implementing process improvements and want to further your career.
Excellent technical expertise in payroll.
Up to date knowledge of UK payroll, tax and employment law (as relevant) and best practice approaches in these areas.
Excellent experience in a similar position.
Proven capabilities as a people manager, with a flexible and inclusive management style.
Highly proficient IT skills, including the MS Office.
Confident and able to quickly learn new IT skills and software packages as required.The Role
Provide support to the and be a number 2 to the Head of Payroll to ensure full oversight of team deliverables and performance.
Identify process improvements and efficiency supporting system development, as required and lead on their implementation.
Lead and develop the existing payroll team, heighten their skills and identify area's where improvement is required.Salary
Salary is £45,000 to £53,000 with excellent company benefits, including holidays and hybrid working.
