BRIEF OVERVIEW
• Role: Electrical Systems / Electrical Design Engineer
• Location: Milton Keynes
• Role type: Contract - Inside IR35
• Contract length: 12-months + possible extensions
• Rate: £Negotiable DOE
• Working Type: Hybrid (4 days on site, 1 day WFH)
Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Systems Engineer to work with an innovative advanced engineering business, which is pioneering some of the most groundbreaking projects in the world.
Many of the projects are focused on high-performance vehicles such as aeronautical, hypercars and motorsport, as well as advanced technology like hydrogen fuel cells. The projects are working on all things land, air and sea.
You'll have the opportunity to work on complex projects, alongside a group of some of the best engineers in the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Capture and understand requirements
• Creative, out-of-the-box thinking to solve problems
• 2D and 3D electrical design such as concepts and schematic design, architecture design, etc
• 2D manufacturing such as drawings, build lists, wiring instructions, BOM, etc
• Physical validation of designs
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Automotive, aerospace, marine electrical experience (motorsport/hypercar is a bonus)
• 3D harness/loom design (NX preferable, CATIA and others are considered)
• Electrical schematics design (Capital, VeSys, Zuken, etc)
• Good understanding of materials/products used in electrical systems
• Able to develop business tools and processes
