Michael Page Logistics have exclusively partnered with an exciting client who are a 3PL business, supporting their search for a Warehouse General Manager, operating one of of their key sites in the UK.
They are an easily recognisable, innovative, and growing company, attracting various blue-chip clients along the way. This role will give the successful candidate a chance to truly flourish within a challenging, demanding, but rewarding environment with lots of room to progress along the way.
Job Description
The Warehouse General Manager role will require the individual to:
• Report to the Regional General Manager.
• Manage a team of 400+ operatives through 6 direct reports.
• Full site P+L responsibility.
• Manage multiple customer relationships.
• Be responsible for inbound, pick and outbound operations.
• Have full control of the operating budget for headcount.
• Be responsible for the inventory management through your teams.
• Full site H&S control.
• Accountable for people development and performance management within the operation.
• Be commutable Northamptonshire
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate for the Warehouse General Manager role will have the following skills and experiences:
• A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background - Essential
• Be Degree educated (or similar) - Advantageous
• Have worked in 3PL environment previously - Essential
• Managed Multiple customers previously - Essential
• Managed closed book contracts - Essential
• Possess a high level of commercial acumen - Essential
• A minimum of 5+ years Logistics experience at an equivalent level previously - Essential.
• Have managed in excess of 400+ employees previously - Essential
• IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications - Advantageous
• Be results driven and commercially minded.
• Be commutable to Northamptonshire
What's on Offer
This role offers:
• Salary - £80,000 - £90,000
• Car allowance
• Plus a SLT package including bonus
