Here at Teaching Personnel, we are currently seeking a Teaching Assistant to work at one of our SEND schools in Aylesbury.
This role involves working with Secondary students with ASC and ADHD. They are seeking a Teaching Assistant who can take an empathetic and proactive approach, and support learning across the school.
The successful applicant must have some experience working with children with SEN (or have a family member with SEN) and must have an understanding of Autism.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Working 1 to 1 or with small groups
• Supporting the students inside and outside the classroom
• Supervising break and lunch times
• Being a role model
• Preparing the classroom and resources
• Collaboratively working with the Class Teacher
• Reporting any observations on progress, well-being and behaviours
• Supporting to de-escalate challenging behaviours
• Attending regular training and meetings when required
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:30-3:30pm.
Pay:
£400 - £475 per week.
Temp to perm opportunity.
Permanent role guaranteed if applicant successful.
