Warehouse Supervisor
• Job Type: Full-time
• Location: Norwich
• Salary: £30000
We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of various functions within our warehouse. This role involves supervising a team of FLT drivers and administration staff, ensuring that the team is well-maintained and developed to meet the changing demands of the business while adhering to all Health & Safety requirements.
Day to Day of the role:
• Supervise all warehouse activities, including the FLT Drivers and Administration team.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements, promoting a safety-first environment.
• Maintain daily operations of the Orcascan system to ensure stock integrity.
• Dispatch customer orders in full and on time to the best of your ability.
• Conduct regular product inventory counts and reconcile alongside the Inventory Manager.
• Liaise with external warehouses regarding space, customer dispatches, and return loads.
• Collaborate with Operations and Technical teams regarding held stock for customer orders.
• Action raw material requests from production and update the QAD system.
• Maintain day-to-day liaison with transport partners to ensure all shunt movements and customer loading programs are complete.
• Supervise and support the warehouse administration team, ensuring all customer documentation is correct and delivery notes are processed for invoicing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong organisational skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Good IT proficiency and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
• A positive “Can Do” attitude, driving a right first-time approach with attention to accuracy.
• Experience in supervising a team within a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations within a warehouse setting.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
