We're seeking an Insight & Strategy Manager to join an award-winning team. Axis is a pivotal pillar within the CPM group of companies, responsible for providing data and insight to our clients, enabling us to increase ROI and make the best-informed decisions.

This role is critical within AXIS to deliver next level performance for us clients.

Ideal Location: Thame, United Kingdom, OX9
Salary: £40-50K DOE

In this role you will:

 •  Own data automation, integration, advanced analytics, modelling and visualisation that optimises client performance
 •  Be the go-to expert in digital marketing & customer analytics techniques, as well as the practical application for business benefit e.g. creation of RFM models, personas and production of digital engagement metrics & behavioural analysis
 •  Recommend and develop new insights capability to drive efficiency and sophistication. Previous experience or an understanding of machine learning or AI is desirable and would be utilised in role.
 •  Manage more junior team members while being the main point of contact for all client communication.

This role acts as an interface between different business functions which will require significant work in a virtual team environment. Occasional travel to other CPM and client offices within the UK is required.

Essential skills:

 •  Advanced data handling & statistical analysis
 •  Designing process automation through scripting & parameterisation
 •  SQL & Python
 •  ETL tools e.g. Microsoft Data Factory or Alteryx
 •  Experience using Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint
 •  Excellent written & verbal communication
 •  Creating compelling presentation narrative
 •  Senior stakeholder engagement - internal & external
 •  Commercial acumen
 •  Exceptional problem solver
 •  Experience in digital marketing or customer analytics environment
 •  Degree level or equivalent in mathematics, statistics, economics, business or similar

Desirable skills:

 •  Relevant business and/or technical certifications desirable but not essential
 •  Experience of successful Machine Learning & AI application in business environment
 •  People supervision or management
 •  Working across multiple clients/projects at any time
 •  Analytics for retail / field marketing.
