Purovets are working with an independent, down-to-earth small animal practice that was purpose-built in 2014 with a recent extension to keep up with ongoing demand. They are looking for a full-time veterinary surgeon to join their fabulous seven-vet team in Worcestershire.
New graduates will be supported and their applications are encouraged, and they would also welcome applications from experienced vets.
They are one of the only independent practices left in the area and are determined to keep it that way.
They put their team first and value the meaning of work
• life balance.
A typical week would be between 3.5
• 4 days on a seven-week rota based on a 40 hour working week.
There are no OOHs, and you will only work 1 in 3 Saturday mornings until 12pm.
You will not have to work on Bank Holidays
• VetsNow cover all of these, allowing the team to have well-earned rests.
There is no sole charge
• on an average day, you will be supported by 4-5 other experienced vets who are all happy to lend a hand or discuss various cases.
They are thriving as an independent business in the prime of Veterinary care. The recent times have not only pulled the team together, but have allowed them to increase from three consult rooms to six, bringing scope for exciting new opportunities.
They are a small, close-knit team with one branch, making it very easy to get to know others. You will have an incredibly varied caseload with a diverse range of surgeries, and you will have clinical freedom to manage and work up cases. Happiness at the surgery and job satisfaction is hugely important to them, and they will always have time to support and talk when it is needed.
You will be working in Worcester, a historic city in England that is renowned for its picturesque landscapes and medieval charm. Nestled along the River Severn, Worcester boasts a stunning cathedral dating back to the 7th century. The city's rich history, vibrant culture, and diverse architecture make it a captivating destination for visitors and locals alike.
The M5 motorway ensures convenient car access, while well-connected train links enhance accessibility and facilitate easy travel to Birmingham, London and other key locations.
Role:
