Rhubarb Recruitment is recruiting a Sous Chef for a busy Mediterranean restaurant located in the centre of Bath. We are seeking an experienced Senior Chef to support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations. This role would be suitable for either an existing Sous Chef or Head Chef.
The restaurant is part of a small restaurant group with excellent opportunities to progress and move into a Head Chef role in the future.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years experience as Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
• Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine is useful but not essential.
• Ability to lead and manage a team, as well as work collaboratively with Head Chef and restaurant management and staff.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High level of attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary: Basic salary to £42,000 negotiable and depending on experience + service charge worth approximately £5,000 per annum
