Emmanuel Celebration Centre is a vibrant church in the heart of the Berkshire Community. We are looking to recruit a Charity Worker-Sound Engineer in support of the growing need within out church. Join us and make a real difference in our online platforms.
General Responsibilities:
• Follow instructions and details from directors, producers etc
• Set up and test sound equipment before events, broadcasts or recordings
• Record, edit and mix audio tracks (instruments, vocals etc.)
• Enhance sound quality and add sound effects to recordings
• Work with video editors to synchronize video with audio tracks
• Play backing tracks and special effects during live events
• Collaborate with lighting, camera and other people
• Create and maintain sound libraries
• Resolve technical issues when they arise
• The ideal candidate will require:
• At least 3-year work experience working in sound engineering preferably in a church setting.
• Willingness to work flexibly.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in both English and Swahili
• To have a commitment to the vision, purpose, and work of Emmanuel Celebration Centre Have a positive attitude.
• To connect with our online community, encouraging them, providing opportunities for their spiritual growth, and challenging them to serve their community.
• Stay current with online ministry practices by reading, attending conferences and training as required.
• Terms of appointment:
• There is a probation period of six months.
• A full enhanced DBS check will be carried out prior to appointment.
