Job Description
As the Graduate Credit Analyst / Underwriter you will be responsible for:
Full training will be given to carry out the below responsibilities:
• Making effective underwriting decisions for SME/consumer proposals within approved mandate authority and agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Supporting the Small to Medium Enterprise Underwriting Team in driving local Credit, Anti Money Laundering & fraud team competencies through evaluating processes.
• Analysing all factors for assessing the credit, Anti Money Laundering & fraud risk, in line with CONC guidelines and latest European anti-Money laundering directives.
• Delivering, supporting & coaching local external stakeholders on SME/consumer credit requirements.
The Successful Applicant
• Degree Educated
• Relevant work experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• Effective, proactive communicator and inspirational, collaborative team member; able to prioritise and ensure deadlines are met through effective time management.
• Comfortable working as part of a team and individually.
• Passionate about what you do and about delivering an outstanding level of customer service for both internal and external customers. Accountancy
• Great eye for detail with strong Word and Excel skills.
