An Exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s fastest growing ecommerce brands based in Kent as a Senior PHP Developer. Despite only operating for the past 5 years, they have seen substantial growth and recognition in that time and have no plans in slowing down.

Role & Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications using PHP.
Lead the end-to-end development of web applications using PHP, MySQL, and other relevant technologies.
Develop and maintain web applications using CakePHP framework.
Design and implement efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimise application performance and reliability.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve the development processes and practices.
Write clean, well-structured and well-documented code to ensure the software remains readable.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Strong understanding of CakePHP framework or equivalent – Laravel etc.
Proficiency in MySQL or other similar databases.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
