Pertemps Education are supporting a co educational Secondary School & Sixth Form based in Harlow with an exceptional opportunity for an experienced school Data Manager to lead a critical function within the school and wider organisation.
This role is ideally straight Permanent, and to start ASAP in May or September 2024. Successfull applicants will be invited in for an initial tour and interview, an open conversation, and a chance to see the school in action, as well as in introduction to Senior team you will be working alongside.
The school would honour any notice period, and would be open to giving the opportunity to trial via Agency for a number of weeks before making a decision to commit (if that was your preference).
As the Data Manager, you will be
• responsible for providing strategic and effective management of all data and reporting systems
• the storage of data in their MIS
• the use and integrity of information within the school.
• out research, write reports, and manage third party reporting systems
• users to undertake their own analysis of data to drive standards and performance.
The successful applicant will be:
• in the navigation and utilisation of Arbor
• and experienced in analytical resource solutions such as SISRA.
• systems are compliant with GDPR
• to the leadership and development of the Data & Exams Team.
• for the management of pupil and staff timetables
• the detailed input and maintenance of curriculum timetabling
• necessary changes where required. You will provide reports, as requested, for all stakeholders including the DfE, Trust Board, local authority, governing body, the school leadership team, and heads of department.
Pertemps Ideal Candidate:
Full Driving License & Personal Vehicle
Background experience in Educational Data Management (not essential but desirable)
Higher Education background in Data Management
Able to visit this school over the following month of May or June 2024As line manager of the Examinations Officer, you will take ownership of all matters relating to Secondary exams and providing clear direction to ensure a rigorous process is maintained.
The successful candidate will be part of a supportive Trust-wide Data Team, which enables the necessary support, training and standardised processes required to help you quickly, and confidently integrate into ways of working and the wider mission to become an “exceptional & gold standard'' school.
