Our client has an opportunity for a Facilities Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. As the Facilities Engineer you will be required to play a leading role in the delivery of all Hard FM services and associated contract outputs. This will include the identification and implementation of a suitable regime to achieve and maintain legal compliance on all building systems

Role: Facilities Engineer
Location: Lincolnshire (RAF Cranwell)
Hours: Full Time / Permanent (40 hrs per week) Shift pattern and timings may change if deployed to match the needs of the site. Weekends included.
Salary: Discussed Upon Application
Clearance required: The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role

What you'll be doing:

Carry out Legionella (L8) Testing / Monitoring in a range of commercial and hangar buildings.
Ensure statutory compliance and high levels of system reliability. Producing monthly reports.
Create/produce risk and method statements for in-house reactive and planned tasks.
Administrate the company safe system of work including the issue of permits to work and maintain building compliance records
Appreciation of working at height, Step Ladder use and inspection CAFM System (TABS).

Industrial Doors
Water Systems
Chiller Plant
Pressure systems
Alarm systems
Water Systems
Fixed Electrical systems
Lighting Systems

Essential experience:

Candidate will need to demonstrate wide and varied experience with a multi discipline maintenance environment.

Qualifications for Facilities Engineer:

Recognised qualification in a building service discipline, and Knowledge of Information Security and Data Protection act.
Working Understanding of COSHH and completed H&S training (such as IOSH)
IT literate (Microsoft Package Inc.; Outlook, Word and Excel)
Water Hygiene knowledge for Legionella (L8). Qualification or awareness Water Hygiene management Qualification
Machine operations to IPAF 3a and 3b.
Hold or working towards Membership of an associated Professional Institute. NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Facilities Management (4 Day) Qualification.

Desirable:

Electrical Installations C&G 236 or equivalent
Electrical Test and Inspection C&G 2394 or equivalent.
Mechanical / Plumbing Qualification.
Water Hygiene knowledge for Legionella (L8). Qualification or awarenes
Water Hygiene management Qualification
Previous experience delivering facilities management services.
IOSH working safely or higher.
Machine operations to IPAF 3a and 3b.
Recognised First Aid qualification.
Appreciation of working at height, Step Ladder use and inspection.
Prior knowledge of Tabs FM Management system or CAFM experience.
Hold or working towards Membership of an associated Professional Institute. . NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Facilities Management (4 Day) Qualification.
Knowledge of Information Security and Data Protection act.
Recognised qualification in a building service discipline.
Experience in the application of a permitted SSoW in the management of High Risk Works.
