Role: Project Manager - Fire Alarms
Location: North London
Duration: 12 months
Rate: £450 - £550 OUTSIDE IR35

We are looking for someone with a consistent and proven track record of delivering large scale projects within the Fire Alarm sector, working on large scale Data Centres responsible for delivering 1 Major Project in the North London area, the role is site based.

You Will

Gain clear understanding of Customer requirements - Specifications and Drawings as necessary.
Co-ordinate the works to match or better the given time and budget, Proactively Manage Risk and Opportunity throughout the installation phase, identify and assess all risk factors. Implement procedure for solving issues and problems (identification, analysis, actions and controlling) with all necessary stakeholders

Communicate job progress/performance to client, ensuring works are carried out to the specification
Responsible for ensuring all works are being carried out in accordance with H&S guidelines and as per RAMS.

Experience, knowledge, and skills required:

Project management experience within the Fire and Security / electrical sectors.
Experienced in leading teams in a construction environment.
Experience in high end Life Safety systems is desired but not essential.
Managing Safety of Site Staff, Sub Contractors Operations in conjunction with SHEQ Manager and Supervisors
Overseeing of project Design Coordination
Dealing with Clients Project delivery teams first hand.
Attending progress and design team meetings.
Preparing and monitoring of Contract programmes and progress reports.
Procurement of plant and materials in line with specification, drawings and cost plan.
Procuring and managing of subcontractors.
Preparing cost forecast and recording/ costing of variations.

Oversee commissioning process and handover to client.Desirable background:

Experience within the Data Centre sector.
Project management experience in the M&E Building Services sector.
Good commercial understanding/awareness.
Ability to create and manage programmes (MS Project)
Ability to work proactively in the Design, Install and Commissioning processes
SMSTS or equivalent
ECS Black Card
