Senior Marketing Executive
Castle Trust Bank | Basingstoke | Full-time | apply.workable.com |
The opportunity
We have an opportunity for a talented Senior Marketing Executive to join us on the exciting and rewarding path we are taking here at Castle Trust Bank. Having become a fully authorised bank in 2020, we pride ourselves in being a fintech challenger bank, providing specialist property mortgages, retail finance lending and savings accounts to a variety of customers.
Proud winners of the ‘Best Place to Work’ award at the Hampshire Business Awards 2023!
Working in our small Marketing team, this will be a broad role with a particular, but not exclusive focus on digital marketing. You will be responsible for implementing and improving digital engagement and digital promotion to customers, brokers and retailers for all our business lines (Savings, Property and Retail Finance).
You will develop and deliver digital marketing campaigns, manage them from end to end, monitor/evaluate performance and track return on investment. Using your previous knowledge, you will make data-driven recommendations and implement subsequent improvements and report on performance.
You will also support the Head of Marketing and Marketing Executive with the delivery of all other marketing content and activity for the Savings, Property and Retail Finance business lines, along with support for the brand and internal departments.
Other things you will support will include email, website and social media activity, updating product communications and marketing materials (online and offline), competitor analysis, managing third party agencies and external events to name just a few.
This is a perfect opportunity for you to hone your digital marketing skills and experience and support the development of the wider team, whilst continuing to learn and develop your own broader marketing skills in an environment where everyone is required to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in.
This position is offered on a permanent, full time basis. We offer a hybrid working arrangement, 3 days a week from our Basingstoke office and the rest of the week from home.
What we are looking for in you…
What is important to us is that you have proven digital marketing experience (including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Ads, paid search and Google Analytics 4), ideally within a financial services environment (such as a bank, lender or retail finance provider).
You will have broader marketing experience including experience of writing copy and producing a wide range of marketing collateral for a variety of audiences. If you have knowledge of using a website CMS system, SEO, and design software packages (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva), this would be highly advantageous.
What is equally important is that you have exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence, communicating in a candid and consistent manner in a way that others can understand. Actively listening to others, avoiding interruption and open to reason and new arguments from others is a key behaviour we are looking for in the successful candidate.
You will be adept in persuading others to your own point of view through the use of facts and personal conviction, adapting your style accordingly to your audience. As this is a senior role within the team, you will need to work well to your own initiative with limited supervision and the ability to take ownership of your work and proactively managing your output.
Your planning and organisation skills will need to be effective to ensure optimal capacity, thinking ahead to be able to track progress and manage workload and the expectations of others.
What’s in it for you…
As well as a competitive salary, we offer an annual performance related bonus based on individual and company performance. In addition, a generous contributory pension scheme through Hargreaves Lansdown, life assurance, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays on top) with the option to buy/sell up to 5 additional days (terms apply).
In addition, you will receive an extra day paid annual leave for Volunteering.
Wellbeing is also high on our agenda, and we offer healthcare benefits through Equipsme. In addition, all colleagues have free access to TELUS Health EAP to support their health and wellbeing. We also offer free eye test vouchers and discounted gym membership, and if that’s not enough, we also offer season ticket travel loans (if applicable).
Caught your attention? If so, we’d love to talk to you and tell you more about what it’s like to work at Castle Trust Bank – The Place To Work!
Castle Trust Bank is an equal opportunity employer where we celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all our colleagues to thrive.
