ARNE is an apparel and footwear brand/retailer based in Birchwood Park near Warrington, UK. We design and develop our products in the UK, manufacture in the near & far east and then ship directly to our customers, via ARNEclo.com. We have recently branched out and are now also available via Selfridges both in store and online.

We have ambitious objectives over the next decade with the team believing all targets are achievable through new product category launches in shoes and womenswear alongside the creation of paid media, CRM activity and further international growth to amplify the great product / brand assets we have already created.

Reporting to our Head of People & Talent, you’ll be responsible for supporting colleagues of all levels across the business and will be involved in delivering People focussed projects at ARNE. You will be an adaptable and resilient People professional who can operate in a fast paced, high change environment.
You will have strong interpersonal skills which engage and influence candidates and stakeholders at all levels and have a commercial mindset. As a key member of the People Team, you will be responsible in supporting on everything from employee relations, wellbeing, talent acquisition and talent development.

Requirements

Employee Relations:

 •  Provide support and guidance for colleagues on a range of People processes, in line with policies and best practices.
 •  Responsibility for ensuring our people system HiBob is kept up to date, and any changes actioned in a timely manner.
 •  Issue appropriate correspondence relating to changes to terms and conditions of employment, probationary periods etc as required.
 •  Support with investigations, disciplinaries and grievances as required, including issuing correspondence, note taking, and providing advice.
 •  Coordinate relevant off-boarding processes for leavers, including conducting exit interviews, tech/equipment retrieval etc.
 •  Produce weekly/monthly reports to support the wider People Team with influencing people related decisions.

Talent Acquisition:

 •  Support on the recruitment process including advertising roles, screening and shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews and issuing offer paperwork.
 •  Co-ordinate and deliver the induction process to deliver a first-class experience.

Learning and Development:

 •  Fully managing and owning our new learning platform HowNow, including assigning training, chasing up completion, and supporting managers with their team’s development.
 •  Facilitating face to face training, such as booking rooms, inviting delegates, managing pre course work etc.
 •  Coordinating our development opportunities, overseeing and scheduling courses, workshops, and programmes. Working closely with internal and external partners to make this happen.
 •  Partner with our Management Team to ensure that Colleague reviews are scheduled and actioned promptly, with constructive and clear feedback captured and documented accurately.
 •  Support the team on internal career development and developing a high-performance culture.

Engagement:

 •  Assisting in driving forward culture and engagement activities across the business.
 •  Organising quarterly socials, Black Friday activities, Christmas parties, as well as smaller engagement opportunities throughout the year such as Pancake Day & Halloween.
 •  Be an ambassador of ARNE’s values and behaviours, encouraging all Colleagues to represent these at all times.

Essential Experience and Skills
 •  Must have previous experience working as a true generalist HR Advisor, with widespread experience in handling end-to-end employee relations case work.
 •  The successful candidate must be well organised and able to manage a varied workload.
 •  Must be approachable and a true people person, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with people at all levels.
 •  You will be confident, proactive and determined to go the extra mile to achieve results.
 •  Experience in Retail/eCommerce would be desirable but not essential
