Our East Yorkshire based client is currently looking for a Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team! A market leader in the manufacture of new and supply of rental units into the Construction, Health, Education and Commercial sectors.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor
£40,000 to £45,000 DOE
Brandesburton

We are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our client's team. This is a key role responsible for managing contracts end to end and commercial control of rental department contracts.

As an Assistant Quantiy Surveyor, you will be required to:
Regular account development reviews with clients
Update project management systems with revenue and costs to manage project out turns
Project reports
Applications for payment with necessary approvals
Final account reconciliation
Review project progress
Attending site visits
Manage financial aspects and out turn of around 60 projects
Authorisation of purchase orders
Approving subcontractor works orders for payment
Pricing documents for projects
What we are looking for in the Assistant Quantity Surveyor?
Previous experince working with multiple projects at a time
Excellent communication skills
Microsoft proficient including Word, Excel, Outlook
Commercial experience
Industry knowledge and/or QS experience
