Our well established client, based in Loughborough, is currently looking to recruit a Bodyshop Supervisor to join them on a full time, permanent basis

Shifts: Monday to Thursday 0800hrs to 1630hrs, Friday 08.00hrs to 15.30hrs
Salary: Up to £20 per hour (Approximately £40,560 per year based on 39 hr week)

You're a seasoned professional, with significant experience in the motor vehicle repair industry, particularly in commercial vehicles.

Your expertise extends to understanding VOSA PSV/HGV License Laws and Regulations, ensuring compliance and excellence in every repair.

You thrive in collaboration, working closely with the Body Shop Manager, participating in meetings and planning sessions, and covering for them when necessary.

Your ability to read and understand drawings is unparalleled, allowing you to navigate technical challenges with ease.

Responsibilities:

 •  Supervise a team of technicians, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.

 •  Cover for the Body Shop Manager when necessary, ensuring seamless operations.
 •  Provide timely updates on repair progress and manage job issues in real time.
 •  Ensure compliance with Volvo time recording procedures and Health and Safety policies.
 •  Act as a crucial link between our workshop environment and the demands of our office operations.

Competencies:

 •  City and Guilds, NVQ 3, or equivalent in Commercial Motor Vehicle repair.
 •  Exceptional team management and motivational skills.
 •  Effective communication at all levels, both written and verbal.
 •  Proficiency in diagnostic and technical assistance, guiding our technicians to swift fault diagnosis.
 •  Adaptability and flexibility to modify approaches for positive outcomes.
 •  Ability to delegate tasks effectively and operate computer systems with ease
