Company Information
A leading European supplier for railway electrification are currently seeking a Quality Manager to join their team in Derby
As Quality Manager you will be responsible for providing and collating the necessary documents and evidence relating to the Quality area and requirements within the HSQE team and management of the necessary Quality and safety aspects of the company within the HSQE department
Role Responsibilities
• Completion of internal audits on all aspects of works
• Assistance in the management of external audits (RISQS PCL ISO)
• Focal point of contact for all quality documentation required for project handback and entry into service This includes milestone events overall completion and health safety file compilation
• Regular attendance at client meetings managing client requirements for all quality matters
• Liaise with Quality team throughout the UK and company to demonstrate collaborative working and strategic developments and opportunities
• Management of the audit programme and delivery of internal and supplier audits
• Identification of improvements and provide support staff in their implementation
• Assist the site teams and managers by recognising hazards and seeking to minimise risks whilst creating maintaining and improving the health safety environmental and Quality standards
• Management of file management collation and upload to the business and NR systems as required
• Control of documents and records to ensure that they are up-dated as required
• Assisting with both internal and external audits and ensuring qualify standards uplift
• Working within company safety guidelines adhering to the requirements of The Health Safety at work Act 1974 and Network rail guidelines
• Carrying out any other reasonable related duties
To be suitable for the position you must have
• Experience of working in the rail industry
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar level of role
• Excellent Computer literacy and systems experience
• Relevant qualifications in Quality Management
• Member of a relevant professional body PQI etc
• Valid UK driving licence and willing to travel as required for the role
