Locum CT Radiographer

Main Duties/Responsibilities

As an Locum CT Radiographer, you will:

Performing a diverse range of CT examinations, ensuring optimal patient positioning and image quality.
Operating and maintaining CT equipment, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Collaborating with radiologists and other health care professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Communicating effectively with patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout the scanning process.
Maintaining detailed patient records and documentation, adhering to departmental and legal requirements.
Contributing to the efficient work flow of the department, ensuring timely scan turnaround and patient satisfaction.

Essential:

Diploma or Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Radiographer
At least six months recent NHS experience
Must have Right to work in the UK / No sponsorship required
Flexible to cover nights and weekends if needed
