I am currently recruiting for a commercially-focused Assistant Management Accountant/Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner to join a successful and diverse business based In Ellesmere Port. Joining an experienced and collaborative finance team you will support a number of stakeholders across the business in a highly commercial role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management accounts production for a number of divisions as well as consolidating the overall company position.
Detailed reporting & analysis relating to both revenue and costs across your division to support key business decisions
Supporting the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts
Liaison with department heads - reporting and reviewing actual and forecast performance at both detailed and summary level.
Ensuring the provision of timely and valuable management and operational for your division - maintaining and expanding a range of reports in order to assist budget holders in the effective management of their costs and revenue targets.
Preparation of VAT returns.
Review of reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including bank, sales ledger, purchase ledger, prepayments and accruals, and maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
Continuous improvement with driving best practice financial controls, processes and procedures to a lean philosophy.Qualifications & Experience:
AAT, part-qualified or equivalent/QBE
High level of numeracy, able to explain complex financial information in a clear way
Advance Excel skills
Excellent time management and organisational skills showing ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work
Good interpersonal skills in order to both assist and challenge stakeholders at multiple levelsBenefits:
