We are looking for an ambitious, driven & strategically focused HR Business Partner with strong Project Management experience and a proven track record of delivering large scale projects within the HR space. The successful candidate will need to have a strong HR Generalist background and also be an accomplished Project Manager.
You will report to the Senior HR Business Partner and have day-to -day interactions with the wider HR community and senior business stakeholders.

This is an exciting and unique role offering the dual aspects of HR Business Partnering and Project Management. You will split your time between business partnering a client group and leadership team to deliver their people strategy and driving the HR team to deliver critical projects.

This role supports one of Capgemini's largest public sector clients therefore experience within a complex matrix environment is key and the right candidate needs to thrive within this challenging yet rewarding environment. This role also benefits from hybrid working, you'll be required to come into our office based in Telford on average three times per week however, this could be more or less as it depends on business needs.

Your role

As a HRBP you will play a proactive role in the following key responsibilities including project management:
 •  Build effective and long-lasting, trusted relationships with key business stakeholders including senior leadership, Centres of Excellence (recruitment, compensation, HR Services, etc).
 •  Deliver the people priorities for the business areas you will be partnering with focus on attracting, developing and engaging talent.
 •  Lead and deliver projects across the UK HRBP Community. Driving overall process improvements, e.g. capability development, HR Technology, recruitment, HR policies.
 •  Develop and grow the capabilities of our talent and skills needed for the future success of the business.
 •  Deliver strategic compensation, recognition and reward initiatives including pay and bonus.
 •  Champion D&I initiatives which will support us to maintain the right inclusive and diverse environment for employees to be at their best.
 •  Oversee and drive the successful execution of large-scale HR projects across the business. This includes project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and ensuring project goals are met.
 •  Create comprehensive project plans that effectively address the business needs, align with HR strategies, and provide exceptional HR services.
 •  Utilise data analysis to identify HR-related issues and develop and implement data-driven solutions to address them effectively.
 •  Identify opportunities for process improvements within and lead the implementation of changes to enhance the level of service provided to the business.
 •  Effectively interact with executives and senior management to provide project updates, solicit feedback, and align project objectives with business goals.
 •  Contribute valuable insights and input to strategic and policy decisions, drawing from your project management experience to inform high-level decision-making.

Your profile

To excel in this role, you must be forward-thinking, hands-on, and customer-centric, possessing the credibility and presence to thrive in a fast-paced, commercial environment. Additionally, you should demonstrate the following:

 •  Significant experience in both Senior Project Management and HR Business Partner roles, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
 •  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a track record of effectively managing and analyzing HR metrics/KPIs.
 •  The ability to influence and set strategic directions that align with growth and business transformation objectives.
 •  Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate others and influence work behaviors to drive project success.
 •  Proficiency in change management, negotiation, and influencing capabilities to navigate organizational transitions effectively.
 •  Intellectual curiosity, enabling you to provide valuable insights to both the team and the broader business.
 •  Extensive experience in senior stakeholder management and effectively leading HR teams.
 •  Fluency in understanding and using all project management and business metrics and their impact on business performance.
