Imperial Professionals are delighted to announce we are working with one of our high-profile clients in the Food Manufacturing sector to appoint a new Specifications Technician.
Job Title: Specification Technologist
Location Brompton-on- Swale
Salary: up to £28,000 per annum
Type: 12 months contract
Hours: Monday - Friday
Role:
As the Specifications Technician you will create and maintain specifications of raw materials and finished products.
Duties:
Generate and review specifications of raw materials and finished products for the company and client.
Conduct audit and review of product launch procedures.
Supervise the company’s supplier approval procedure and keep all approved supplier logs up to date.
Make Sure supply chain maps are available and kept up to date for all raw materials.
Ensure raw materials and finished products specifications are adhered for product launches.
Produce QAS / colour standards for production / development.
Other reasonable duties allocated by the Head of Technical.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a Specification Technologist role.
Experience working with raw materials within the food manufacture industry.
