About the School

Special School serving pupils aged 4-16 years old
Admits students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)

Key Responsibilities

Support students across all areas of the school, demonstrating an optimistic and aspirational attitude towards their development.
Be willing to undertake necessary training to acquire skills required to work effectively in a specialist setting.

Selection Criteria

Have experience or an interest in working with children with Learning Difficulties within either an educational setting or transferable sectors such as care & support work.
Hold an NVQ Level 2 or above (desirable).
Be willing to undertake the relevant online CPD courses/training prior to starting the role.
Prioritize the needs of pupils and demonstrate a willingness to learn new roles.
Work effectively as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Are flexible in their approach to working with pupils, adapting to meet their diverse needs.
