A wonderful opportunity for an experienced and professional individual to join a friendly, knowledgeable and highly experienced business as a Accounts Administrator Bookkeeper. The business is large enough to have a wide range of knowledge and experience but small enough that the service each client is provided is personable, reliable and to the highest standard.
Operating Near Bicester the business operates daily with clients offering a welcoming face to all alongside outstanding and focused service. Therefore, you must be able to support this through your work.
This is a full-time position of 35 hours, Monday to Friday.
Duties of the role:
• Assist with preparation of monthly and annual accounts, and reporting.
• Prepare income tax and corporation tax computations and returns.
• Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases.
• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Completing VAT returns.
• Support with HMRC tax enquiries and investigations
• Occasional travel to visit clients.
• Invoicing
• Cash flows and budget preparation for clients.
• Meeting and greeting guests and additional adhoc tasks.
You must:
• Have experience in accounts and administration.
• Be professional and focused in a work environment but always remain friendly and approachable.
• Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and efficiency
• Be confident using Xero and QuickBooks.
• Show the ability to work independently and in coordination with the team.
• Display the ability to use Microsoft office including word and excel.
The business will also offer 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and an additional 3 days holiday between Christmas and New Year, the company also offer a discretionary monthly bonus based upon company performance.
