SF Recruitment are working with an exciting Insurance business based in Birmingham, for the recruitment of an ambitious Forensic Accountant.

This is an incredible opportunity to join a rapidly growing business and really add value to the role and therefore the wider company. The business is looking for a forward thinking, ambitious and highly motivated individual to join the forensic accounting team.

Duties of the role will include:
Lead and manage forensic accounting investigations related to insurance claims, including but not limited to business interruption, loss of profits, and extra expense claims.
Conduct thorough financial analysis and review of relevant documentation to identify irregularities, discrepancies, and potential fraud indicators.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external experts, and legal counsel to gather evidence, assess liability, and quantify financial losses accurately.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations for claims resolution and litigation purposes.
Provide expert testimony and support during legal proceedings, arbitration, and settlement negotiations as required.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in forensic accounting and insurance claims management.

To be considered for this role you will have an analytical nature and will have demonstrated clear value add activities in the companies you've worked at previously.

You must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA), ideally from an audit background and seeking an opportunity in a fast paced, dynamic, profitable business where you will really be able to grow and develop the role as this division grows.
