MAK Jobs is recruiting for an experienced Quality Technician on behalf of our client. We are thrilled to be working with this well-established prestige company who are offering a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.
Location: Crick
Salary: £15.50 - £17.17 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday 07:00 – 16:30
Essential for the role:
• Manufacturing background
• Ability to read engineering drawing
• CMM (coordinate measuring machine ) experience
Within your role, you will be responsible to ensure that all incoming goods meet the required quality standards as per the approved drawings and technical specifications.
Responsibilities
• Inspect incoming parts and perform detailed measurement
• Support Final Inspection
• Liaise with the production teams
• Review and approve or reject incoming parts
• Manage Material Review Board (MRB) process and disposition of product (Ie. Rework, Scrap, RTV
• Raise and manage CAR (Full 8D - Containment, Root Cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventative Actions)
• Validate Supplier FAIR
Requirements:
• Committed, flexible and able to multi-task.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks within a daily work allocation
• Positive and ‘can do’ attitude
