Job Description
• Administer student funding programs, including processing applications, disbursements, and reconciliations.
• Provide guidance and support to students regarding funding opportunities and eligibility criteria.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance with funding regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate student records and databases within the MIS, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Generate reports and analysis on student enrolment, attendance, and academic performance for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on changes in funding regulations, policies, and procedures, and implement necessary adjustments accordingly.
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to enhance student funding accessibility and efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
• Previous experience in student funding administration or financial aid management preferred.
• Proficiency in using Management Information Systems (MIS) and database management software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
• May be working towards an accountancy degree
