Previous care or healthcare experience essential. A Care Givers' Level 2 Certificate would be an advantage. You will work 42 hours per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performing personal care, such as dressing, undressing, washing, use the toilet and bathing
Undertake Housekeeping duties, such as preparing and serving food and drinks, helping with eating and drinking and assiting with their laundry
Participate and Supervise activities
Maintaining safe environment and equipment
Assist in accurate records keeping and report verbally on residents' health and welfare
Chaperon medical and professional staff as required
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Report complaints and concerns
Be respectful and courteous and maintain professionalism
Implement personalised care plans in line with the Home’s philosophy and objectives
Participate in supervision and training and undertake NVQ Level 2/3 courses
Support the Team in handling medical and other emergencies
Participate in meetings and handovers
To undertake any other duties as required which are conducive/contribute to an effective and the safe running of the Home and delivery of appropriate care
Essential requirements:
3 satisfactory, professional references
