About the Project: Join a leading main contractor and spearhead a transformative school project in Hayes. With construction set to begin in June, you'll be involved from the project's inception right through to its successful completion. This is your chance to leave your mark on a vital educational facility and shape the future of Hayes community.
Your Role: As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in the project's success. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include:
• Managing all aspects of quantity surveying from pre-construction to final account
• Implementing effective cost management strategies to ensure project profitability
• Conducting thorough cost analysis and reporting to stakeholders
• Procuring subcontractors and managing contractual agreements.
• Collaborating closely with the project team to drive efficiency and mitigate risks
• Providing expert advice on contractual matters and dispute resolution.
Your Experience: While previous experience in school projects is preferred, it's not essential. We're looking for candidates who possess:
• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably on projects of similar scale and complexity.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
• A passion for delivering excellence and exceeding expectations.
