Position: Behaviour Mentor
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with SEMH (Social and emotional mental health. Your role will involve implementing behaviour management strategies, fostering positive relationships, and supporting students in overcoming challenges to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implementing tailored behaviour management plans to support students with SEMH needs.
• Building rapport and trust with students to facilitate engagement and motivation.
• Providing emotional support and guidance to help students develop coping strategies.
• Collaborating with school staff and external professionals to deliver holistic support.
• Monitoring and documenting student progress and intervention outcomes.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar role within an educational setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resilience and empathy in managing challenging behaviours.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour management or counselling preferred.
