Part-Time Interim Finance Director – The Role:
As the Part-Time Interim Finance Director, you will oversee the financial operations of our client's educational institution. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial stability and success of the organisation.
Part-Time Interim Finance Director – Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure long-term sustainability
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
• Lead and mentor the finance team
• Collaborate with various departments to meet financial objectives
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes
• Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives
Part-Time Interim Finance Director – You:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the education sector
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritise effectively
• Proficiency in financial software and systems
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations in the education sector
