Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver in DT6 5NX.
Duties:
• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
• Assist in loading and unloading cargo as needed
• Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Experience:
• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver preferred
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Commercial driving experience is a plus
• Familiarity with flatbed trucks is a plus
• Experience around Europe is a Bonus
Skills:
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws
• Ability to safely operate a commercial vehicle in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
