Job Summary: As a member of the Practice Clinical Team, your primary responsibility is to provide primary healthcare services to patients across various settings. This includes participating in Practice activities such as clinical and staff meetings, audits, and continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
Additionally, you will play a role in the development of the Practice and contribute to its function as a training practice. Daily Clinical Responsibilities: Your daily duties will involve conducting consultations in all clinical settings as directed, covering the Practice's obligations under the GMS and Enhanced Service contracts.
You'll maintain high standards of clinical records and adhere to Practice policies for prescribing. Moreover, you'll work within the Practice's systems and processes, contributing to their efficient management and supporting the achievement of Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) targets.
You'll also share responsibilities such as checking and signing prescription requests, addressing patient queries, providing clinical supervision to the nursing team, and supporting the management and administrative staff as needed. Contribution to the Implementation of Services: You'll apply Practice policies, standards, and guidelines in your work and collaborate with team members to understand their impact.
Participation in audits and other improvement activities is expected, contributing to the Practice's goals in areas such as clinical governance, best practice, and quality improvement. MISSION, VALUES, AND STRATEGIC DIRECTION: 1. Promote the practice mission, values, and strategic direction.
