The purpose of the role is to support overall day to day operations of the remit through the organisational strategies and to support, mentor and guide current Registered Managers to drive KPI's to deliver on providing high quality care.

Key points
Will be expected to be visible across all branches with the remit
Candidate must have expert CQC knowledge and the confidence to manage a team of Registered Managers
Must act as a support system and mentor for Registered Managers
Drive KPI's and overall performance
Must have current Operational experience within the home care sector
Must be commercially savvy and understand the dynamic of being a successful Operations Manager

As the head of Operations you will be expected to drive performance around delivery of quality care, governance, staffing, recruitment, hours of care, promoting excellence etc. It's important you're able to recognise indicators of poor performance and act quickly to remedy them as well as work systematically with Registered Managers to develop and deliver each branches business plan.

The Candidate

This role is an exciting opportunity for a current Operations Manager that wants to join a company who can develop your career and provide good quality care for its clients. The candidate is required to have previous Operational Management experience with exposure to turning around Domiciliary care services in line with CQC requirements and support Registered Managers within a remit of branches across the Midlands, North & Scotland.

Requirements
Experience working as an Operations Manager within the Domiciliary care sector (essential)
RMA level 4 / NVQ level 5 Management
Good relationship management skills
Exposure to and compliant with CQC
Passion for the care of elderly people (essential)

Location

This role is to cover branches across Midlands, North England & Scotland. This role is commutable from Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Warrington, Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent, Nottingham, Leicester etc.

The interview process will be in a two stage format.

Stage One - Teams (informal interview)
Stage Two - F2F (formal interview)

My client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager with exposure to management within Domiciliary care services, where the successful candidate is able to lead and support Managers and staff. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of circa £70,000 per annum plus benefits.
