Marine Hull Technician/Account handler

Your new role working as a Marine Technician will be working for a a Global international insurance and risk Lloyd's Broker Lloyd's Broker with offices based in London and Worldwide. Your new Brokers ensure that they negotiate and handle complex transactions and have the knowledge to provide valued and trusted advice to all their customers.
You will be working within a well-respected and dynamic Marine team working alongside Brokers, Account Executives and Technicians. Due to expansion within the Marine Hull & Liability team, they are now looking for an experienced Marine Technician/Account Handler
Your new role
Your new job, working as a Marine Technician, will be managing all the technical aspects of marine insurance, from initial contact to placement. You will be responsible for ensuring that clients, brokers, and underwriters have all the necessary information to place large-scale Global Hull accounts.
You will be responsible for the preparation of MRC slips and endorsements as well as liaise with producers/brokers to create effective market presentations. Other duties will include attending client strategy/renewal meetings and ensure all documentation provided aligns with market requirements.
This role also includes the management of client queries as well as liaising with insurers as needed.
What you/'ll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Marine Hull Technician will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will also have confidence to prepare MRC slips and endorsements as well as dealt with any clients or wish to deal with Marine Hull clients.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation. Ability to solve complex problems in a high-pressure environment while managing workload
