Senior Bridge Engineer
Carrington West are currently recruiting for a Senior Bridge Engineer based in Essex, to join our client on a long term contract.
Key responsibilities of the Bridge Engineer are:
• Detailed design and improvement of various sized schemes - with support from more senior members.
• Detailed Highway structural analysis
• Preparation of reports, drawings, specifications and Contract Documents, including
• Compliance with Highways England performance requirements.
• Liaison with the local authority, Highways England and other stakeholders.
• Compliance with QSE requirements including CDM.
Additionally, you may need to carry out:
• Management and supervision of more junior Structures Design Team Members.
• Structural inspections, assessments and checks.
• Structures studies and scheme identification work.
• Value management and engineering including early contractor involvement and liaison with Project Managers and construction teams.
