EE Engineer : Wellbeing Systems
Location: Crewe (Hybrid onsite 2/3 days a week)
Contract length : Until 31 st Jan 2025 initially
Outside IR35
EE Engineer : Wellbeing Systems required to join a luxury and performance automotive manufacturer based in Crewe on a contracting basis.
Experienced component engineer / EE Engineer to assist with the technical delivery of an advanced electronic system, comprising a new central processing unit and associated sensors. Primary responsibility will be for an ECU and a set of sensors.
EE Engineer : Wellbeing Systems Key Duties:
• Develop and maintain a high level of technical skill in EE systems.
• Part Owner, components experience delivery and owning ECU electrical components, ECU control unit, Packaging components work involved,
• Packaging (in conjunction with the EE CAD team, Body and Trim engineers and appropriate Concepts zone leaders),
• Circuit diagrams (system level interconnects, with the EE Wiring team),
• Surface models (i.e. ensure any features on the A:surface are both shown in physical and virtual properties by the Design Dept, and that feasibility exists on the mounting and space requirements under the B:surface),
• Supplier liaison,
• BoM management and Design release (B:release) (Note: detailed designs/models/drawings are typically done by the suppliers).
• Validation requirements and coordination.
• Deliver end:to:end according to specific project requirements, within the Product Emergence Process : timing, cost, and quality.
EE Engineer : Wellbeing Systems skills required:
• Ideally Bachelors degree (e.g., BEng), or equivalent (e.g., HND) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar subject.
• Automotive component experience,
• Associate membership of a relevant professional intuition is desirable,
• Ability to communicate at various levels across the company in different forums,
• Design and development skills,
• Knowledge of Electrical vehicle functions including electronic hardware, software, and systems
