Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Term Time)

Pay: Teaching Assistant (TA): £85-£100 per day

My client, a reputable educational institution nestled in the vibrant community of Brent, seeks an experienced Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant with specialised training in Personal and Intimate Care.

Roles and Responsibilities:

 •  Provide Personal and Intimate Care support to students as required, ensuring their dignity and privacy are always maintained.
 •  Assist in the implementation of EYFS curriculum activities, fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
 •  Support the Class Teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons, adapting activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
 •  Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
 •  Contribute to the overall safeguarding and welfare of students, always following school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

 •  Relevant experience in providing Personal and Intimate Care within an educational setting, preferably within Early Years.
 •  Understanding of EYFS curriculum and pedagogy, with the ability to support student learning and development.
 •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
 •  A compassionate and patient demeanour, with a genuine passion for working with young children.
 •  Relevant qualifications and/or training in Personal and Intimate Care, Safeguarding, and First Aid (desirable).
