Proactive Despatch are a multi award winning same day courier company, that specialise in moving consignments that simply must be delivered on time.

As a business we operate 247/365, our booking team are in the office from 08.00 until 17.30 Mon-Fri.

We operate an on-call rota where our team are available to customers if they wish to book outside of these hours.

We do not actively sell out of hours bookings because it is my view that the team work so hard in the day, I do not want to put more pressure on them in the evening.

We have a requirement for a someone to call couriers on work that is already in progress to ensure they are going to achieve their pre-agreed collection and delivery slots.

So, for example if we had a courier delivering at 19.00 we would want someone to check on them at 18.30 to ensure that they are going to be on time. Then again at 19.00 to ensure they have delivered. Same applies with collections.

If for any reason they were unable to contact the courier, we would then anticipate they would escalate the situation to the Proactive Despatch team member on call.

Then as they became more experienced, we may ask them to field customer calls and allocate couriers, maybe with some additional admin duties.

To facilitate this role, we would provide the team members with a laptop and mobile phone, strictly for company use, and full training would be given.

Wage £11.44 per hour

Mon-fri
 17.  00-22.00

Holiday 20 days excluding bank holidays

They could work from our office or from home.
