We have a fantastic opportunity for Factory Technical Manager to come and join our team!

Within this role, you will lead the technical function at our Poole Bakery site, driving forward product safety by ensuring
compliance across specifications and legislation. You will champion process improvements, assist the team to implement them, and
enable customer requirements to be met and surpassed.

You will also get the opportunity to work closely with our New Product Development (NPD), Technical and Hygiene teams, establishing and maintaining excellent communication.

As a Factory Technical Manager at The Compleat Food Group, you will ensure that product safety is prioritised while cultivating
strong working relationships with our internal teams and external stakeholders.

Your Duties will Include:

 •  Setting and monitoring standards for food safety, integrity, and quality.
 •  Developing a culture of food safety awareness and quality among all employees.
 •  Actively promote a safety culture within the factory, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.
 •  Ensuring that all employees can work within a safe working environment, advocating for a safety culture.
 •  Conducting site and procedural audits and accurately documenting them.
 •  Ensuring manufacturing procedures and processes are appropriately controlled.
 •  Leading process improvement projects and deliver solutions for continuous business improvement.
 •  Provide direction and support to the Hygiene team to achieve relevant standards and conform with customer codes of practice.
 •  Participate in health, safety and environmental training initiative
 •  Accurate cost management using appropriate budget controls
 •  Progress and completion of projects on schedule
 •  Document HACCP and Integrity plans and ensure teams are informed of these plans
 •  Evidence system development and improvement

Your Skills and Experience:

 •  University degree in Food Science or Technology, or other related biological science degree
 •  Advanced Food Hygiene 4, or equivalent, and be Level 4 HACCP certified
 •  Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FCMG) sector
 •  Extensive knowledge of factory processes
 •  Proficiency in communication, fluency in English (oral and written) is essential
 •  Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement
 •  Strong leadership and organisational skills
