Scheduler - Risley
Marlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country.
We are currently looking to appoint a new Scheduler specifically covering our Passive Fire & Mechanical divisions located in Risley.
Basic Salary – £24,000 per annum

Marlowe Fire & Security’s Service Scheduler’s
Efficiently and profitably schedule and dispatch Service & Maintenance Engineers on behalf of Marlowe Fire and Security to complete corrective and preventative maintenance visits in line with customer requirements and industry standards. Requires excellent customer service skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
The role requires a proactive approach and excellent personal interaction with all departments within the business supporting our Customer Charter.
• Scheduling of all works within our Passive Fire division in line with Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
• Proactively monitor engineer’s activity to ensure that you touch base with all your engineers’ daily, ensuring early dispatch & attendance of first job & monitor throughout the day to ensure job completion.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with your Engineers, Stores/Supply Chain Department & Regional Service Manager (RSM) to ensure all calls are actioned accordingly
• Work closely with your manager and support your assigned Regional Service Manager (RSM) to meet customer expectations.
• Liaise with key clients over the phone to enhance both internal & external working relationships
• Completing the Regional Schedulers checklist on a daily, weekly & monthly basis maintaining an audit trail of this activity for yourself & your regional scheduler. Sharing weekly data with RSM
• Monitor Scheduling Portal (Cash4Windows) to ensure real time visibility of your engineers, highlighting any anomalies to your RSM.
• Add clear notes to portals outlining “What happens next & when” to reflect any pertinent information.
• Update client portals and helpdesks in line with specific account instructions.
• Retrieve all phone and email messages and process accordingly within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Booking of works with sites in accordance with customer & site requirements.
• Processing of orders to ensure all work is carried out in time to allow invoice to be created.
• Ensure Area is clear of jobs at end of shift by contacting each engineer by telephone, passing any high priority jobs for same day attendance to the on-call engineer & gaining support from tech support help desk.

• Familiarity of using in house and external systems and databases – Cash4Windows (C4W) would be a significant advantage, but not mandatory
• Proactive approach to management of workload.
• Clear communicator with good telephone manner with colleagues and customers
