Your new company
Your new company has been established for over 80 years and is a true market leader within their field. Due to a recent retirement their looking to recruit and experienced Finance Manager who within 6/9 months will become the financial controller.
Your new role
In your new role as Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of the companies accounts preparation whilst overseeing the sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control functions. You will perform the month end process and conduct the monthly confidential payroll process.
You will manage the budgets and cashflow forecasting. You will report directly to the Finance Director.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with experience working within the manufacturing sector. Ideally within an owner managed SME. You'll have strong leadership skills and experience. With the ability to implement change for improvement within processes.
You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to business partner with all levels of the business. The ability to use sage payroll would be highly desirable.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary circa £50,000 along with benefits including 25 days holiday and annual bonus. You will see a clear progression opportunity from the outset as this role will lead you to the Financial Controller position within 12 months.
You will be given the autonomy to lead the team as you feel fit and implement new processes along the way. You will join as a company whose staff retention speaks for itself.
