Finance Officer Part Time

The Role:

 •  Bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and monitoring.
 •  Produce, manage and monitor monthly management accounts for the individual.
 •  Support the senior management and audit team
 •  Assist in the preparation of audit reports where appropriate and necessary Support, plan and/ or deliver compliance reports
 •  To support the Finance Audit Partner by providing details relating to the monitoring of expenditures against restricted budgets
 •  Support the Central Team with payroll when necessary
 •  To continually review, develop and improve systems, processes, and services in support of the company’s vision of excellence
 •  Any other reasonable task or duty that falls within the remit of the central function within the company
 •  Experience in producing financial forecasts on a regular basis and month-end procedures

Key skills:

 •  Good standard of education including Maths & English A-C grades
 •  Ability to see the bigger picture and understand how the Finance function underpins the work of the company
 •  Ability to build rapport and relationships with specific experience in dealing with the various layers of stakeholders
 •  Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise in a positive way
 •  Excellent communication skills both written, verbal and listening
 •  Ability to analyse, present and understand financial information
 •  A public sector/Education working background would be beneficial
