We have an excellent opportunity to become a part of a Quality team, you will ensure components are inspected to drawing tolerance/specifications efficiently and accurately, with a high attention to detail.
The role requires robust inspection practices and techniques to be employed, typically
through the creation and adjustment of CMM programs
Your Time at Work
• Inspection of components through CMM or manual methods
• Setting and adjusting CMM programs
• Ensuring all quality documents are maintained and completed accurately
• Liaising with other departments on quality related matters for resolution
• Where required work within other areas of the Quality department
• Other duties as deemed relevant in the fulfilment of the position
Our Perfect Worker
Essential
• Recognised CMM programmer training
• Working knowledge of Mitutoyo CMM's using COSMOS platform
• Ability to use various inspection equipment
• In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) as well as the ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Good verbal and written communication skills
Desirable
• Engineering knowledge base/background, ideally within Aerospace
• Working knowledge of ZEISS CMM's
• Computer literate
• Possess strong organisational skills
Key Information and Benefits
Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4pm
Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
Overtime available.
