We are seeking a talented Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team and make a difference in the lives of our students.

About the Role: As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with planning, delivering, and evaluating learning activities under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
Providing one-to-one or small group support to students who require additional assistance or enrichment activities.
Leading and supervising classroom activities in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
Supporting the implementation of Healthcare Education Plans and personalised learning strategies for students with diverse needs, including SEN, EAL, and gifted and talented students.
Collaborating with teachers to assess student progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning goals.

Engaging with parents/carers and other stakeholders to communicate student progress and promote positive relationships within the school community.Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess:

A relevant qualification in Education or Teaching Assistant Training, such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate or equivalent.
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within a school setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.

Knowledge of educational principles and practices, including differentiated instruction and assessment for learning
