My Barry based international Client is looking for a Graduate engineer to join their growing team.
For this role you must be eligible to live and work in the UK, a student visa cannot be accepted, proof of right to live and work in the UK will be required.
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Working with the Technical Director, Design Manager and the Engineering Team to learn about their designs and projects based on current standards and guidance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with the production and maintenance of technical documentation as required; including technical specifications, computations fluid dynamic models, CAD drawings, costing data, technical construction files, design calculations, test data, etc.
• Learn to evaluate project details against regulatory requirements and scope/design compliant solutions.
• Supporting other departments where required on issues of a technical nature.
• Prioritising and organising project tasks into the required timeline.
• Assist in identifying problems with the projects and ensuring solutions and raising them for discussion / resolution.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Engage a strong commitment to the Client’s vision, values and objectives.
• Attend product training as identified.
• Undertake any other responsibilities and ad hoc duties as required.
• Adhere to all personal responsibilities under Health & Safety and Safeguarding procedures, and ensure that the policies are adhered to at all times.
• Adhere to all processes, procedures and policies and ensure they are fully applied at all times.
KEY COMPETENCIES
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong background in either science or engineering.
• Formal presentation skills.
• Effectively review information with ability to identify salient points.
• Proven engineering background.
• Strong decision making capability.
• Good listening skills and judgment
