Role: Financial Accountant
Location: Redditch (office based)
Work times: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (12pm finish on Friday)
The preferred candidate will oversee and execute account reconciliations, compile budgets, and provide support for accounts payable tasks.
Key qualifications include:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with factory management systems like INFOR System 21, including report generation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
• Professional financial accounting qualifications and expertise.
• Upholding discretion and integrity in all tasks.
• Experience in report writing and delivering presentations.
• Expertise in general ledger review and upkeep.
• Conducting month-end sales reconciliations and generating reports.
• Managing recharges and overseeing invoice recharging and debtor ledger control.
• Ensuring tooling reconciliation and conducting overhead analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in internal audits and J-sox processes.
• Participating in budget compilation and maintaining stock and component reconciliation.
• Analysing scrap and preparing Manning reports.
• Handling depreciation, fixed asset, and capital WIP control.
• Familiarity with payroll management processes.
• Capable of working in a collaborative team environment to produce quotations, costings, and MCRs.
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Financial Management.
• Professional certification in the relevant field.
• Valid driver's license
