Marketing Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join a growing family-run B2B business based in Cranleigh that supply specialist industrial products into the construction sectors. The primary purpose of the role is to take ownership in implementing effective marketing strategy and campaigns.
Working with the marketing director, sales and management teams, you will help plan and implement all tactical marketing activity, with the aim of supporting the overall business growth plans.

Key duties and responsibilities....
 •  Implement agreed marketing campaigns by developing relevant materials
 •  Using campaign management tools, execute the campaigns defined in the plan to time, budget and ROI, reporting on their effectiveness and and identifying areas for improvements.
 •  Manage web hosting and development, working with external agencies and internal resources. Keep The site up to date, search Optimise the site, implement PPC campaigns. Manage customer portal. Report on site performance.
 •  Utilise and further enhance the company brand. (Logo/colourways/visual implementation/consistency and trademark management)
 •  Maintain an up to date set of customer personas, specifically target marketing activities toward these personas.
 •  Work with the sales team to define and implement specific marketing campaigns, including support of individual activities that enable them to reach their sales goals.
 •  Manage the creation of marketing collateral, including email, blog, white paper, and web assets that fit the messaging and brand requirements.
 •  Implement segmented email campaigns
 •  Implement a social media program that supports the marketing plan goals, sales goals, individual branches, and company positioning/culture.
 •  Drive use of CRM to make full use of all facilities to improve customer engagement and ROI.
 •  Manage and develop a small marketing team

Requirements
 •  Proven experience as a hands on Marketing Manager in a B2B environment (ideally construction/specification related industries)
 •  Generalist marketing experience
 •  Good understanding of marketing planning, reporting and ROI
 •  Experience with CRM (ideally HubSpot)
 •  Strong sales affinity, with a growth mindset.
 •  Excellent planning and organisational skills. Initiative, drive, and enthusiasm.
 •  Proven ability to write good quality copy and social posts without supervision.
 •  Positive, responsive, energetic with strong initiative and good at making things happen without detailed supervision.
 •  Attention to detail
 •  Able to influence stakeholders
 •  Driven by numbers, and ability to report back on key metrics using marketing data.
 •  Ability to manage and motivate a team

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.30pm

The role is full time office based, with the flexibility to work hybrid once established in the role (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH)

Benefits

Salary - £55,000 - £60,000 (DOE)
